Yo, if you're in Oakland, hit up Monster Pho for some killer gyudon—seriously, it's fire! Also, my bed at Nights Inn was comfy and perfect after that insane 31-hour train journey. Shoutout to the friendly service during check-in—made me feel welcome right off the bat.
Okay, so the room had its issues—like a broken toilet lever and no shower curtain. Just wish I could’ve snagged a cold drink without searching high and low!

missingWrote a review on Sept 20spacious family roomshort drive to attractionslack of cleanliness
We enjoyed our stay, especially being just a short drive from Oracle Park, where we cheered on our favorite team. The spacious family room fit perfectly for my large crew, making it easy for the kids to play around and wind down after the game.
In my wife’s opinion, the cleanliness was lacking and towels should be a standard. A few more amenities for families would really enhance the stay.

Comfy bed and friendly service, but the TV didn’t work and room smelled bad.

Just an ideal choice for a city break in Oakland with great value. The room smelled of old cigarette smoke so badly that I had to prepare my departure quickly. If you can spend a few dollars more, don't stay here.

Recommended for solo travelers seeking comfort
The bed was comfy and well-appointed, perfect after 31 hours on the train. Service was friendly upon check-in, which isn't something you see everywhere these days, a nice touch, really. The large window in my room gave a great west view, letting in plenty of light. I mean, with earplugs, I barely noticed the noise outside, which was a relief.
It wasn’t the cheapest option but still acceptable considering the exhaustion I felt.
